How is inguinal hernia diagnosed?

Inguinal hernia can usually be diagnosed through physical examination. In small hernias that appear only with pain without creating swelling, various imaging methods such as ultrasonography and MR are required.

What is the treatment of Inguinal Hernia?

Inguinal hernia can only be treated with surgical methods. The surgery, which is based on the strengthening of the area with some artificial patches without causing tension, in order to repair the tear, can be performed by open or laparoscopic methods.
